SEaMEN! THE SAILOR MUSICAL is a fast-paced, campy revue
about life and love on the open sea using 35 popular songs from the worlds of classic rock, pop, doo-wop, standards, folk
music and sea shanties. Interwoven into the fabric of the songs is the story of Bradley, a young super-innocent who leaves
home in pursuit of adventure. With a penchant for men in uniform, Bradley joins the crew of a mysterious ship heading east,
hauling precious cargo (the new Martha Stewart collection). On the ship, Bradley encounters the vessel's Cap’n and two sexy
shipmates. They set their course for a looney and lovable journey of self-discovery and high adventure.
Featuring a
cast of four hunky singing sailors, the musical is conceived and directed by Hugh Hysell, based upon an idea by Ron Lasko.
SEaMEN! THE SAILOR MUSICAL will be produced in Provincetown by Adam Weinstock/Creative Concept Productions, Hugh Hayes and
Mr. Hysell; and in NYC by Spin Cycle.
The Provincetown company is planning a notorious summer. After last year’s wildly
successful production of NAKED BOYS SINGING!, Creative Concepts is partnering with New York NAKED BOYS producer Hugh Hayes
and New York NAKED BOYS marketing director Hugh Hysell to produce what promises to be this season's eye-popping attention-grabber.
